The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce is a customer service based organization that receives thousands of requests each year for information and referrals.  The Chamber only refers its members to residents, newcomers, visitors and other business clients.

Networking Opportunities

Monthly Breakfast
A place where People in Business Do Business.  The monthly breakfast is proven success to bring more than 50 business people together month after month to build business relationships.

Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting brings Chamber members together for dinner, entertainment, and an evening celebration of the previous year’s progress.  It also provides anticipation of the upcoming yea’s opportunities.  The Chamber’s annual report is presented to the general membership at this event.

IT’S YOUR SALES MANAGER . . . It sells your county, city or town, your products, your services, to people everywhere.

Promotional Opportunities
Work with the Chamber to help get your business the attention it deserves.
Participate in giveaways for special events and meetings.
Display your business promotional materials in the Chamber information office.
Have the Chamber schedule and promote a groundbreaking, ribbon cutting or groundbreaking ceremony. Send the Chamber a press release for an upcoming event so that we can publicize it on our website and announce it at our Monthly breakfast, and other meetings.

Your voice on questions of taxation and legislation.  It represents you at legislative hearings and budget sessions.  It supports measures that are good for our area and opposes those which are detrimental.  It improves community understanding of the free enterprise system.

Community Development

The work of the Chamber is done through its committees and task forces.  The Chamber is active in many areas that have a real impact on the growth and development of Cherokee County, and consequently, on every company that does business here and every person who calls Cherokee County home.

IT’S YOUR BUSINESS AGENT . . . always ready to lend a helping hand.  It performs service to existing industries and business firms.  It conducts surveys and studies and helps create more payroll dollars for the area. 
IT’S YOUR TRAINING AGENT . . . It conducts seminars and workshops through TVA on subjects of concern and interest to business, and equips community leaders and business people with the tools they need to do business in the modern marketplace.
It provides small business management assistance through Jacksonville State University  counselors.

Business Development

Business Development seminars and workshops offer additional training for businesses, including community and business issues, as well as networking with other business people.

Governmental Relations

The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce serves as an advocate for the area, working on the local, state wide and federal levels to ensure funding and positioning.  The Chamber also works in cooperation with the CCAA, BCA and other Chamber of Commerce.
